The cables have slack to allow free movement of the arm, but if it has too much slack for your preference, there are a few options to change that:
- Cut the cable and resolder the end on at the shortened length.
- The ‘joints’ can be taken apart by unscrewing them all the way. This will expose the cable and allow them to pull from the joints.
- Get the stand as straight as possible and pull from the end. This is the most likely to damage the cable.
